Encore Boston Harbor Hotel Review
Located along the beautiful waterfront of Boston, Encore Boston Harbor promised an escape filled with luxury and relaxation. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the valet (which is free btw) who parked my car. As I made my way inside, what I saw was nothing short of amazing. The decor and architecture inside are out of this world. It made me feel as if I had stepped into a historic European hotel with all the details surrounding the decor. Pictures do not do it justice, it is something that must be witnessed firsthand. Encore Boston Harbor proves why it is a step above other hotels in Boston.
A Smooth Arrival
Checking in was a breeze, and the friendly staff ensured a quick and hassle-free check-in process. I do wish they had online check-in through their mobile app but check-in was smooth nonetheless. The bell boy saw that we were struggling with our bags and offered to cart our bags and belongings to our room. Overall the staff and service were truly amazing during our stay and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Architectural Marvel
Overall the architecture and design of the hotel left me in awe. From the moment you take your first steps inside you just want to take it all in. This might be the most unique and beautiful lobby I’ve ever seen in my travels. There is a mini Ferris wheel in the center of the lobby surrounded by vibrant flowers and vegetation. The warm vibrant colors invite you in uplifting your spirit as you make your way through the lobby. There is a fusion of modern elegance with nods to Boston’s rich history and it is not surprising that many of the guests chose to stay here because of the architecture alone.
Exceptional Accommodations
There are 671 rooms at the hotel and they without a doubt highlight the hotel. We stayed in one of their spacious 600 sq ft Premier King rooms with a panoramic view of the city. The room was spacious and just screamed luxury. The bedsheets and comforter were plush and so comfortable to sleep in. The blinds, lights, air conditioning, and TV were all connected via a tablet in the room. With a touch of a button, you’re able to control everything while lying in bed! The simple luxuries like this put Encore Boston Harbor above the rest. The bathroom is very spacious as well. Each room has a double sink vanity with granite countertops, a shower, and a bathtub. The Premier King room left nothing behind in delivering the ultimate luxury stay during our 3 nights at Encore Boston Harbor.
Encore Boston Harbor Culinary Delights
My culinary journey at Encore Boston Harbor left me satisfied and wanting more at the same time. Whether I was in the mood for a gourmet experience at the on-site restaurants or a more relaxed meal at the café, Encore Boston Harbor was nothing short of spectacular. In the evening, I enjoyed an amazing cocktail at the bar, where expert bartenders showed off their skills. It was the perfect end to every night during my stay!
Entertainment and Gaming
The casino at the hotel was a world of its own, where excitement and entertainment were not hard to come by. As someone who enjoys a bit of gaming, I was like a child at a candy store when I saw all of the games and slot machines. I tried my luck and naturally, luck did not have my back 🙁 lol. Despite losing, I had a great time at the casino playing the slots. The staff at the casino were always attentive and courteous towards the guests. They made the gaming experience enjoyable and stress-free and were always around if you had any questions or concerns.
Encore Boston Harbor Relaxation and Rejuvenation
After spending a long day exploring Boston, we wanted some relaxation and rejuvenation when we got back to the hotel. One of the staff members at the front desk recommended I try the spa at least once during my stay. I decided to take them up on the recommendation and visited the spa after a long day of walking around Boston. Walking in, the spa’s ambiance was soothing, and the selection of treatments and therapies was truly exceptional. There were so many options to choose from facials to deep tissue massages. I opted for the deep tissue massage and the skilled therapists took great care of me. It left me feeling completely refreshed and pampered. I could have fallen asleep right there on the table. The spa added an extra layer of luxury to my already remarkable stay at Encore Boston Harbor.
Convenient Location
Encore Boston Harbor’s convenient location was a major plus. Exploring the city’s top attractions was a breeze, it is literally a 10-15 minute drive from all of the places we visited. There is even the historic Freedom Trail just a short walk away. The aquarium, downtown Boston, restaurants, and much more were nearby. Having a hotel in the center of everything makes the travel experience to the city you are visiting that much more enjoyable. No one wants to drive 30 minutes out of their way to the hotel.
Live Entertainment
During my stay at Encore Boston Harbor, I had the pleasure of attending a live performance at a theater they recommended. The theater experience was a world-class act with local talent performing. If you have time to squeeze in a performance, please try to attend one of these performances. You will thank yourself later! The theater by Encore Boston Harbor was a memorable evening and a great last night for us at the hotel.
Impeccable Service
In addition to the fantastic accommodations, dining, and entertainment, Encore Boston Harbor provided top-notch service. Simply put, the staff was AMAZING! They undeniably treated us with professionalism and were always courteous and ready to help with any request we had. Whether it was from the valet service, or the concierge recommending things to do when exploring the city. From room service to the cleaning staff, the level of service at Encore Boston Harbor was truly exceptional.
Encore Boston Harbor Eco-Friendly Initiatives
The eco-friendly programs were a bonus for us when we arrived at Encore Boston Harbor. I was pleased to note Encore Boston Harbor’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. The hotel’s dedication to environmental responsibility was evident in its green initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint. I must say, it is comforting to know that the hotel I am staying in is taking responsibility for a sustainable future. Boston Encore Harbor proves that luxury and sustainability can go hand in hand.

In summary, my time at Encore Boston Harbor was an unforgettable and luxurious escape in the heart of Boston. From the moment I arrived to the time of our check-out, I was living in luxury! Encore Boston Harbor isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience that left me with unforgettable memories of my time in Boston. This was without a doubt one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in recently.
